When to Eat Snacks?Snacks cannot replace the main meals: breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

Try not to eat snacks while doing other things. Snacks can be consumed after breakfast, before lunch, after lunch, or before dinner. Have them around 10 am or 4 pm.

Healthy snacks are low-fat low sugar, but high in vitamins and minerals. Eating healthy snacks can help curb hunger pending your main meal. However, the habit of eating snacks at night can be detrimental to your health, especially when the snacks are high in sugar, salt, and calories. Choose your snacks wisely.

Snacks that are rich in fiber, vitamins, and minerals are as follows:

Vegetables & fruits such as apples, pears, bananas, and oranges

Edamame, nuts, and seeds;

Milk, yogurt, pudding.
