Chicken Piccata by Ayoma
Ingredients
- 500gr chicken breast fillets, sliced thinly
- 1 egg
- Maizena flour
- 100 gr grated cheddar cheese
- Salt
- Pepper
- Mix herbs (oregano, basil, thyme, rosemary)
- 3 tbsp lemon water
- Vegetables: steamed broccoli, potatoes, carrots, chickpeas
Cooking Instructions
- Marinate chicken with salt, pepper, mixed herbs, and lemon juice for 30 minutes. Pound the chicken to help the spice absorption.
- Beat an egg together with grated cheese and prepare cornstarch for coating the chicken pieces.
- Coat the chicken pieces evenly with cornstarch and dip them into the egg and cheese mixture. Bake in butter. To cook the chicken perfectly, use medium-low heat and occasionally flip the chicken.
- Plate the chicken with steamed vegetable broccoli or corn carrots chickpeas.
