Thai Salad Ayoma Style
Ingredients
- 150 g lettuce leaves - cleaned and cut
- 1 grab of cherry tomatoes - washed and halved
- 1 green/yellow bell pepper - sliced lengthwise
- 1 cucumber - sliced
- 1/2 onion - thinly sliced
- Coriander leaves
- Toasted sesame seeds
- 100 g lean sliced beef – sauteed
- Salad dressing:
- 5 red chilli peppers (large/red chilli peppers – adjust to desired level of spiciness)
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp palm sugar/brown sugar
Cooking Instructions
- Sauté sliced meat for approximately 3 minutes and then set aside.
- Prepare the sauce: crush chilli and garlic, finely comb palm/red sugar, and mix with lemon juice until nicely combined. Add chilli, mashed garlic, and olive oil. Stir until thoroughly blended.
- Prepare a container and plate lettuce leaves, cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, bell peppers, cilantro, and onions. Put sliced meat on top, drizzle salad dressing all over, and sprinkle some sesame seeds.
- A salad with extra protein is ready to serve.
