
Ayoma Style Jelly Coffee
Ingredients
- Jelly ingredients:
- 1 sachet (7 g) plain agar-agar powder
- 800 ml water
- 1 tbsp ground coffee
- 3 tbsp sorghum sugar
- Drink ingredients:
- 2 cans @380 g evaporated milk
- 1 tsp ground coffee
- 2 tbsp sorghum sugar
- Ice cubes
Cooking Instructions
- Make the jelly: mix the agar-agar and sugar well, then add water and stir until fully combined. Cook over medium heat, stirring continuously until it reaches a boil, then turn off the heat.
- Add the ground coffee, mix well, and pour into a container (strain if necessary). Let it set firmly, then refrigerate.
- Once solid, remove from the mold, cut into desired pieces, and set aside.
- Make the drink: dissolve the ground coffee in hot water and set aside.
- In a container, mix evaporated milk, 2 tablespoons of sorghum sugar, the coffee solution, and ice cubes. Stir well. For better flavor absorption, refrigerate the mixture before serving.
- Prepare a glass, pour in the drink, and add the coffee jelly. Stir well and enjoy!
