On December 2, 2023, Ayo-ma, in collaboration with JFD, spread love to underprivileged children in the Kelapa Gading area. The event was held at JKI Provedencia Kelapa Gading Church, from 10:00 am till 1:00 pm.
On this occasion, we connected with children from families of scavengers residing in the vicinity of JKI Provedencia Kelapa Gading Church. The teachers actively involved themselves in delivering educational content ranging from maintaining personal hygiene to foundational skills such as reading, writing, and counting.
Approximately seventy children attended the event, representing a range from toddlers to junior high school students. Their enthusiasm during the activities was apparent. Happiness radiates from them as they receive balloons, gifts, and Ayo-ma bags. The event concluded with a collective prayer.
The joy of these children touched us. It felt like the happiness of us who gave was far greater than those who received. The joy displayed by these children left a profound impact on us: the satisfaction derived from giving far surpassed that of receiving.
