Beef Teriyaki with Enoki
Ingredients
- 500gr beef, sliced thinly
- 1 onion, thinly sliced lengthwise
- 3 cloves of shallot, bruised and chopped
- 2 packs enoki
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbsp butter and oil
- 3 tbsp sweet soy sauce
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tsp cornstarch
- 1/2 bowl of water
- Garlic powder
- Ground pepper
- 2cm ginger, mashed
- 1 tbsp sweet soy sauce
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp sesame oil
Cooking Instructions
- hinly slice the beef lengthwise. Wash and immerse them in the marinade. Let them soak for about 30 minutes.
- Combine all the seasoning mix and set aside.
- Heat a generous tablespoon of butter and a tablespoon of oil (you may use olive oil). Add minced garlic and saute until fragrant. Then add the seasoning mix and let it come to a boil. Add meat and taste to check the flavor. Add a tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce, enoki, and onions. Simmer until fully cooked. Ready to serve.
- TIPS: cooking sliced meat directly in boiling seasoning stew at a high temperature does not take long. When the dish starts boiling, remove the meat immediately to prevent them from becoming tough.
