Ingredients
- 1 piece of ginger (approximately the size of the palm of your hand)
- 3 pieces of aromatic ginger (about 4 cm each)
- 5 lemongrass stalks, smacked and sliced
- 1 litre of water
- Lime (optional)
- Honey (optional)
Cooking Instructions
- Wash ginger and aromatic ginger. Roast them until fragrant, then peel and smack them. You may skip the roasting and boil them directly.
- Bring water to a boil. Add ginger, aromatic ginger, and lemongrass. Cook for approximately 10 minutes, then turn off the heat and let it cool to a warm temperature.
- The drink is ready to serve. You can add a dash of lime juice and some honey if desired. Enjoy!
