Steamed Tofu
Ingredients
- 2 egg tofu @140 g
- 150 g mince chicken
- 100 g shrimp - mashed
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1/4 tsp powdered stock
- 3 garlic cloves - crushed
- 1 egg white
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- Spring onions - finely sliced
Cooking Instructions
- Add cornstarch, salt, sugar, pepper, stock, garlic and egg white to the chicken and shrimp mixture. Mix well and set aside.
- Cut the tofu into 2-cm-thick pieces and arrange them in a heatproof container.
- Place a small scoop of the chicken and shrimp mixture on top of each tofu pieces. Steam until cooked (approximately 15-20 minutes).
- Drizzle a mixture of soy sauce and sesame oil over the tofu. As a topping, sprinkle sliced spring onion on top of the tofu.
