Tofu Skin Chicken
Ingredients
- 1 chicken, cut into 10 pieces
- 250g dried tofu skin
- 4 garlic cloves, bruised and chopped
- 1 onion, chopped
- 5 cm ginger, bruised
Cooking Instructions
- Bring water to a boil, then add in the following order: chicken – salt – ginger.
- While waiting for the chicken to become tender, wash and rinse the tofu skin. After soaking it in drinking water for about 15 minutes, cut them into pieces.
- Heat butter and a dash of oil (you may use olive oil). Saute garlic and onion until fragrant. Set aside.
- Once the chicken is tender, add the tofu skin. Adjust the taste to your preference.
- Let it get to a boiling point and add the sauteed onion and garlic. Stir well.
- Ready to serve.
